Assalamu Alaikum & hey fellow gamers!

I've been wondering something lately — as Muslim gamers, we often spend a lot of time online in games and on platforms like Discord, but are there still online spaces where we can talk about our faith, identity, and culture alongside gaming?

It’s not always easy to find that balance — being part of the gaming world while staying grounded in who we are spiritually.

I recently discovered Chatbook.pk — it's a space where Muslims in Pakistan (and beyond) are discussing everything from Deen and identity to tech, education, and yes... gaming too. Felt like a refreshing corner of the internet, away from all the noise.

Just curious:

Do you know of any other forums or communities that support Muslim gamers or let us talk about faith openly?

Do you think platforms like these are important for staying connected to our values online?

Hey folks, I’ve been thinking about how smooth communication and clarity make a huge difference in a guild setup—whether it’s sharing raid strategies, coordinating events, or posting updates. Clear topics, easy-to-navigate information, and reliable links keep everyone on the same page and reduce confusion.

I was just curious—does anyone here run a small business, freelance, or do anything tech-related outside of WoW?

I’ve been exploring tools to help friends with their side projects, especially for things like getting a simple website, doing basic online marketing, or managing online reputations. Guild vent

Well Vent dies in July. I paid for the first year by myself and I won't be paying for it again. So in this port I will include the link so the Guild can Donate and keep it going. If the Vent needs to be increased in size we can look at doing that once there is enough donations. We currently have a 50 man vent. Marrideth and a few of the Officers in the Guild have Admin Access.

Well...i guess i lied
our net seems to have actually gotten worse over my winter break, and even if it hadnt, ive had to spend money elsewhere that would have allowed me to play. im going to be pessismistic and say that the earliest i may be able to play now wont be til this summer, when im at home and have good internet...

sorry guys, i can still get on vent after midnight but it lags horribly until about 1 am, thus i know my net cant sustain WoW

While it sounds good, we've tried it before in the past. it was hard getting people to do 10 Uld on SCHEDULED nights where people signed up and it was CURRENT content, and even when TotC was current. people are more concerned with current raids, not with doing content from 2 patches ago. you could shoot for TotC 10 and maybe 25, and farm those for gear to do ICC. tht might attract some people. But i havent play since November either, things may have changed since then....

all that being said, i really miss being a part of the core raiding team.... tanking Beasts when undergeared was epic...
if my net was better and i had the money, id def be back, but its actually gotten worse since november and im down to a budget of <$10 a week...

you will get most of your hit from gear, which is why gearing a boomkin blows because we have to go to cloth for +hit gear and you clothies get mad and then stuff goes down, etc, etc....
but im not certain how much hit you need though to be capped...

Just so everyone knows we had to change the rights for the Guild bank due to Shedlight deciding to leave and taking all the expensive stuff out he could. I hate having to change the Bank access for people but I just cannot trust people after that happening. With that said if you need anything from the Guild Bank contact and Officer or higher for help. Also expect to general Guild Rules to come out soon.

Best way to tank Gormok:

Use 2 tanks for the fight. A paladin, which is a must, and whatever other tank is available. The non-paladin starts tanking taking 2 stacks, then the paladin taunts and gets 4 stacks and the non-paladin taunts back. Pally uses bubble to remove the stacks, and the non-paladin will take 4 stacks. To lower the damage on him, I use sacrifice on 3rd stack, and he uses some cooldowns on 4th. I'll taunt back, and give DK Hand of Protection. Then i'll tank the rest, and dead.
